MAKE A MOVE.

Image result for man running

One of the saddest incidents that took place in the world in recent years is the sinking of the ship that had hundreds of South Korean school children that were on a trip. Many questioned the wisdom in the captain’s instruction for the children to sit still in a sinking ship until they sank with it. That is exactly what a lot of people do. Why cling to a job that can hardly feed you? Have you thought of alternatives?

Again, father Abraham comes to mind as a man of God who was proactive. When his nephew was carried, he pursued and recovered him. When strife arose in his household, he handled it and when lack of water starred him in the face, he dug wells.

Are you stranded? Perhaps you are currently in a pig’s pen? Then make a move. The prodigal son of Luke 15 had a self talk. He arose and made a move that ended his misery. Scripture tells us that we have the mind of Christ. Sometimes, it pays to sit down, think and take some bold steps to usher you into new seasons of life.

Progress in life is related to action. Do something. Passivity does no one no good. If you are a child of God, then our Good Shephard is always giving us progressive ideas. You know the problem of many? PARALYSIS BY ANALYSIS!!!! WE analyze every single divine idea until it gets paralyzed. This new year, decide to boldly step out and try out the ideas you have nursed for so long. Proverbs 28:1 tells us that the righteous is bold as a lion and of course Mathews 11:12 is there to remind us that the
violent takes it by force.

You are blessed. Ngozi Okure.
