DELIVERANCE BY THE MOUTH.

Moses is such a beautiful Bible character. I find everything about him very inspiring. May his mum, sister Jochabed be eternally blessed. What a wonderful mother she was. She literally saw the invisible in her son and refused to submit him to the sword of Pharaoh. That reminds me that when we are determined to do something worthy of praise, our God sends us help profusely.

Reading through the interaction between Moses and the Lord at the back side of the desert yesterday was so interesting to me. Go and be my instrument of deliverance from Pharaoh. Moses opened his ‘cans’ of objections and excuses. I am sure that Moses never remembered that our God is both an advocate and the Judge of the whole earth. Who can win an argument with Him?

Exodus 4:12 says, Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth and teach thee what thou shalt say. What i got from this scripture is huge. Remember that Moses was being sent for a deliverance exercise. The Lord did not promise him AK47. He told him that He will be with his mouth. This makes our mouth a vital tool in our deliverance.

Reading further in Exodus chapter 6, I saw this phrase written about six times – I AM THE LORD. How much strength I drew from that. Yes Lord, you are the Lord. You are the one that drowned Pharaoh and his mighty army. You drowned them with their horses and chariots. You did it then, you can still do it today. You are well able to drown the modern Pharaohs with their Ak47. Nothing prevails against the Church of the Living God in this nation. Lord you are the Lord. You said that you will build your Church and the gates of hell will not prevail against us. So it is written, decreed and established in Jesus name.

It pays to draw faith, peace and encouragement from scriptures instead of fear from some other sources. Remember that the Lord is with our mouths. Please speak living Words always.
