MAXIMIZE THE MOMENT
I had an opportunity to talk with some single sisters in a meeting last Saturday and do you know part of what I told them? Maximize this period of your life. I told them that the time they have now, they will never have again once they say I DO. Talk about the responsibilities that come with marriage and motherhood!!
I saw something quite interesting from the book of Mathew yesterday. The Lord Jesus Christ entered into a particular city in Mathew 13. Guess what happened? They despised him. Is not this the carpenter’s son?. Scripture says that they were offended at him and consequently, He could not do much for them.
Contrast that with the response of the men in the next city He went to. Matthew 14:35 says, And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased. These men emptied their hospitals and every sick person in their community was healed. Talk about people maximizing their moment.
I believe in excellence. My husband will tell me “Baby, don’t use the available, rather use the best” When it comes to books, whose opinion can be better than that of a professor? I chose to maximize the moment a couple of years ago by sending the manuscript of one of my books to Profession Akin Ige. He is a Christian leader and a professor of Geochemistry.
