ORDAINED FOR INCREASE

As the school bus left after picking my son  on Friday,  I began to think. The young man behind the steering had picked two students before he got to my house that early. Who knows when he woke up?  Dear Lord,  please bless all the young men who are making a living through honest means.
A dear sister had sent me a video clip where our police apprehended a lot of young people for various crimes ranging from armed robberies to kidnapping and more. I watched the young lady among them as she was crying and asking for mercy. How can people think that they can thrive for long doing the wrong thing? You may ask me of the ones who are looting our treasuries. All we see from outside are the big houses and cars but I can assure you that there can be no peace for the wicked. Scripture says so and it is settled in heaven forever. Of what use are possessions when there is no joy?
*Job 8:7 says Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase* I took note of the word SHOULD in that scripture. It tells me that it is not automatic. What lessons can we learn from Job since we are told that he was a highly prosperous man.
Job had godliness and the fear of the Lord. Beyond that,  he had products.  The word prosperity is vitally connected with productivity and the root word for productivity is the word PRODUCT.  Do you have any products to offer? What services can you render for the benefit of mankind? I am here to remind you this morning that scripture says we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Our God not only gives wisdom for creativity but He also quickens wealth creating abilities.  However,  we need patience to nurture whatever He puts into our hands.  Be reminded that everything that is rooted in God starts small but spreads to the ends of the earth with time.
Have a beautiful day and may the God of all creations stir up every dormant gift in you today in Jesus name. Every thing in you that had dried up as a result of demonic activities comes alive today in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ. You are blessed.
Ngozi Okure.
